About me
A little about the person behind the code.
I'm a self-taught developer based in the UK. I picked up programming in college. I started with VB.NET and C# but it really clicked when I discovered web development and realised I could build things people actually used. I was often the person going around the class helping other students (and sometimes the teachers) figure things out, which probably says a lot about how I still work today.
A lot of that curiosity started with games. I spent years developing HabboCreate, a fan community for Habbo Hotel part social network, part events hub, with its own economy, live radio, and profile customisation. Building something people came back to every day taught me more about product, community, and long-term ownership than any course could. These days I still unwind with gaming — you'll usually find me playing titles such as Escape from Tarkov and War Thunder.
Outside of work I'm big on animals. Especially dogs. I currently have one dog, a German Spitz named Belle.
Professionally, I've spent the last few years building web platforms for businesses — from logistics tools handling thousands of daily deliveries to membership sites and CMS-driven products on small teams. I care about doing solid work, explaining things clearly, and leaving projects in a state the next person (or client) can actually live with. If you're looking for someone straightforward to work with, I'd love to hear from you.
